D.C. Leads List of Cities with Best Job Growth

According to research by Forbes, Washington, D.C. led the nation in job growth for the first half of the year thanks to the expansion of government, while nine other cities (among them: Boston, Los Angeles and a host of metros in Texas) are best surviving the downturn in part because they specialize in industries that are relatively insulated from economic volatility.
