Gary Marsh

Gary Marsh started a commercial real estate career in 1986, initially selling capital equipment to commercial real estate developers, facilities managers, engineering firms, pharmaceutical companies, semiconductor companies and restaurants. He moved on during the early 1990s recession to business journalism, covering the retail, residential and commercial real estate beats for the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal. That led to a post with Cushman & Wakefield as Western Region Manager of Corporate Communications. Gary worked closely with C&Ws headquarters team in New York while concurrently managing communications initiatives for the firm's 22 offices west of the Mississippi River. During his tenure with Cushman & Wakefield, Gary hired and managed advertising and PR firms in a dozen U.S. cities. That experience inspired him to start his own consulting and public relations firm in 1998.

Gary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During his senior year, Gary served as a feature stories writer and intern with the Boulder Daily Camera and concurrently was a contributing editor at CU's Campus Press.

Beginning in January, 2017, Gary was accepted as an Associate Member of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR). He serves the SIOR Foundation in a pro bono capacity as its publicist.
