James
M. Eastman joined Colophon Publishing Services LLC as Director of New Media
in January 2003. Colophon New Media pursues business opportunities to
develop internet-based products and provide web services including
website
design and development,
hosting, web
marketing campaigns and interactive educational learning
tools. In 2008 he collaborated with Marsh Marketing to rebuild CORFAC
International’s website after which the two firms decided to pursue
additional work together.
James joined Colophon from Oxford University Press (OUP), Oxford, England where he worked for a year and a half as Internet Controller, creating learning media for their Online Resources Department.
Prior to joining OUP, James spent the 2000-2001 academic year earning an M.S. in Computer Science, Interactive Multimedia, from the University of Westminster, London. He also holds an Educational Technology Certificate from Michigan State University and has recently completed further advanced training in Coldfusion Programming, Flash Programming, Vector Graphic Design, Relational Database Development, and Data Management. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.A. in Political Science (minor in Spanish) and taught middle school and high school for eight years before a career in technology.
